I am late posting this, But wanted to thank Roy and his staff for a great thanksgiving weekend. We had two great campsites and one cabin. We enjoyed two full days of ATVing and had some great camp fires. Roy put on a delicious FREE Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was deep fried, it was awesome. Something I always wanted to try. Thanks Roy see you in 2020.
How do we put pictures on our post. ?

Heritage Trails is quickly becoming THE go to place for a great camping trip! We've camped here several times over the past few years, and the transformation is incredible! It went from being run down and not at all KOA quality you expect. Roy came in and brought it all up to code! The sites are more than big enough and we'll groomed. It's obvious that a lot of time and money are going into the park. The new indoor rec centre is a great place for the kids to hangout, and the outdoor pool is now heated! The foam party on Saturday was tons of fun. We had a group of 12 and the kids spent the entire day in the pool! All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. We just left a few hours ago and I'm already planning my next trip back! Kudos to Roy for being so invested and turning that ugly duckling into a beautiful swan!

Great trip! We stayed with Roy and his crew for the weekend. Our kids loved it. There were thinks to do like hayrides and bubble soccer! Roy owns the place and was really active with the campers. Would definitely return again.

Amenities & Activities
Just a few of the things that make our campground so special
Our campground lies alongside a spectacular recreational trail which follows an old railroad line from Lake Ontario north almost to Algonquin Park. The multi-use pathway is great for hiking and ATVing. The trail runs through thick forests and past rivers
